Yes. Converting, editing and downloading MIDI are free to use without signing in. An account is only needed to save a cloud copy of a MIDI project.
What audio formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, M4A and FLAC up to 50 MB, subject to your browser’s audio decoding support. You can also import an existing .mid or .midi file in the workspace.
How accurate is the MIDI conversion?
Clear, isolated instruments and short melodies generally work best. Dense mixes, reverb and overlapping instruments can produce missing or extra notes. Preview the result and use the editor to correct it. Drum transcription is not supported.
Where are my files processed?
In your browser. The converter downloads the processing models, but does not upload your source audio. Cloud saving is a separate action and stores MIDI notes and editing settings, not the source recording.
Can I use the MIDI files in my DAW?
Yes. Downloads are standard .mid files that open in any DAW or notation tool — Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, GarageBand, Cubase and more.
Do I need to create an account?
No. An account is only for saving a cloud copy of a project so you can open it on another device. “What is saved in a project?” — MIDI tracks and editing settings; never the source recording.
